The presenter shares an abundance of dad jokes to his Snapchat, and often replies to fans. This week, his content remained as entertaining as ever, while he tried to sort out a broken alarm that was doing his head in.

After 20 years of silence, Phillip’s alarm decided it was time to go off.

He climbed up a ladder and smashed it to bits.

Still, it persisted. He decided to cut the wire.

No joy. In exasperated disbelief, he asks “What the hell?!” He looks around the attic and discovers there’s another alarm. After applying some brute force, Phillip still struggles to bring the noise to an end.

When the alarm finally dies, Phillip’s relief is palpable.
